It started in Dahab, a sleepy diving community in South Sinai. Eco-Dahab was established to help businesses protect our precious coral reefs. Local circular initiatives, cleanups, and reducing single-use plastic weren’t enough. Businesses were motivated to be more sustainable, but they didn’t know how. So, we started with two simple ideas.
Simplify Sustainability: We developed a simple questionnaire to help businesses gain a 360-degree view of sustainability based on some of the top ESG metrics in the market.
Start where they are: First, to simplify sustainability so that small business owners can understand and identify bite-sized, achievable steps that begin where the business owner is.
VISION
A regenerative business ecosystem where communities and natural landscapes flourish in harmony—setting a national and regional benchmark for sustainable development.
MISSION
To develop systems-level, community-driven solutions that integrate environmental sustainability, responsible tourism, and green infrastructure—empowering local businesses and institutions to thrive while protecting our shared heritage.
